Aurélie MARTIGNAC est née en 1980 à Versailles, elle vit actuellement en région Toulousaine (France).
C'est dans la ville rose qu'elle fait des études d'Arts Appliqués (Lycée des Arènes) et d'Architecture intérieure (Lycée Saliège).
Suite à un voyage en Tunisie, elle découvre des mosaïques antiques d'exception et choisit quelques années après d'élargir ses techniques artistiques. C'est en 2014 qu'elle se forme professionnellement à la mosaïque d'Art et commence ses oeuvres en tant qu'Artiste plasticienne et Mosaïste d'Art.
ARTISTIC STUDIES, PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Aurélie MARTIGNAC followed an artistic education from the second at the Lycée des Arènes (Toulouse) en Applied Arts then en Interior Architectureat the Lycée Saliège (Balma). She began a 2nd year at the Ecole Supérieure d'Architecture but interrupted it to actively enter the professional field.
She integrated several positions in the field du Interior design, as a designer-salesperson to fitted kitchen and bathroom stores. Then as a freelance designer of layout and 3D spaces at trade fairs and fairs: atmosphere sketches, handmade perspectives and marketing.
THE EVIDENCE OF THE MOSAIC
While drawing perspectives in her professional environment and also making paintings, sketches of landscapes and architecture for her own pleasure (acrylic paintings, sketches, etc.) a revelation occurred during atrip to Tunisia (in 2006).This evidence was in front of her, in front of the immense Bardo Museum mosaics. Pure attraction, they were a real revelation: "a moment that offered itself to all my inner being and that resonated in me".

PAINTINGS ON CANVAS AND PATHWAY TO THE MOSAIC
Following this trip which awakened in her a surge of inspiration and creativity,Aurelie M. made paintings on canvas, acrylic and glycero, halfway between thePointillismand theMosaic.
INTRODUCTION TO MOSAIC 2014
It was during a life change thatAurélie MARTIGNACdecided to devote himself toartistic creation of mosaics. An intense need to create and live from his passion. Leaving markers, inks and brushes for thismillennial artwhich today becomes his means of expression and his job. She received vocational training inMOSAICwith Marianne DONON at the Atelier de la Ronde des Tesselles (TOULOUSE) in 2014-2015.
Today, Aurélie M. is a mosaic artist involved in the creation and the link withthe HUMAN. She creates but beyond that, she transmits a message through her Art: emotions, quest for meaning, understanding of the world.
She transmits during these workshops, a simple technique opening to creativity: a whole journey towards Self, a state of well-being and reconnection, a pure moment of sharing.
ARTISTIC APPROACH, TECHNIQUE AND INSPIRATIONS
Her mosaics are the result of an experimental journey through which she explores the wealth of materials. She attaches great importance to theESSENCE of each stone, to itsSHAPE and to hisNATURAL VIBRATION.
Sensitive to the subtleties of the senses: materials, optical mixtures, rhythms, light, she wants to reveal to the viewer,
oh how muchUNION of so-called material fragments"tesserae"can create visual and sensory balance. Composed of a multitude of facets, theMOSAICis like theTO BE HUMAN.
His creations are the reflection of inner parts of ourselves, of a perception through the prism ofduality: feminine/masculine, shadow/light, sometimes unexplored inner resources. They are the expression of the illusion of creative duality, of the subtle interplay between oppositions which in reality form aUNITYperfect.
Through the mosaic, she brings togetherfragments of matterwhich reveal to us un journey towards Self.
Passionate about the intensity of colors, she revisits thisancestral art playing with contrastsMATT BLACKSandGLOSS BLACKSwhich sublimate the color. No realism or landscape. His world is that of theimaginary.
An abstract imagination where geometric shapes, contrasts, effects of movements given by theLIGHT.
TheINDIAN CULTURE,ORIENTAL etASIAN are his sources of inspiration, giving him the opportunity to evoke unsuspected and varied riches, both in terms of color, architecture, human and environmental identity. Fascinated by the creation ofLIFE and someNATURE, the connection between the human being and the mystical are, for her, a deep source of creativitywhere both mathematics and a philosophy of life converge.
Beyond the technique, itexperiment to the fullest, seeking in several paths of creation with the ambition of opening the individual to new sensory paths.

John DUBUFFET, Gustave KLIMT,Claude Monet,Charles Baudelaire, Claude Debussy...
THE CREATIONS
His creations areunique pieces, of theartistic paintingsbut also decorative wall frescoes
on nets, creations for its customers, descustom orders. It also incorporatesgemstones derived fromINDIA : Onyx, Turquoises, Lapis-Lazuli, Amethysts, Rock Crystals, Chrysoprases, Malachites, Indian Rubies... that she selects.
She cuts tesserae using nippers: matt & shiny Briare enamels, antique sandstone, enamelled terracotta, mirrors. She also uses various materials such as colored glass, ceramics or earthenware.
The result of theUNIONof the different materials is essential. She has a particular interest in creatingthickness differencesand oflevels, hence a direct pose work to observe the rendering.
We find in his compositions bases ofsacred geometry : the SPIRAL (natural movement of Life, creative source), segments ofDNA, geometric figures such as PENROSE PAVEMENTS and SACRED SYMBOLS (AUM, Flowers of Life...), dimensions based onthe FIBONACCI SEQUENCE and the GOLD NUMBER in order to create aHARMONYand an RESONNANCE specific to each.
Finally, other areas are completelyLIBRES : his intuitive creativity is freed and his creations are the result of a present moment of"PURE CREATION".

INITIATION A LA MOSAÏQUE 2014-15
C'est suite à un changement de vie personnelle, en 2012, qu'Aurélie MARTIGNAC décida de se consacrer à la création artistique. Un besoin intense de création et de vivre de sa passion. Elle se rappela des mosaïques de Tunisie et choisit cet Art millénaire laissant marqueurs, encres et pinceaux devenant aujourd'hui, son moyen d'expression et son métier. Elle suivit un enseignement professionnel de la MOSAÏQUE à l'Atelier de la Ronde des Tesselles (TOULOUSE) en 2014-2015.
Aujourd'hui, Aurélie M. est une artiste et mosaïste artisan d'Art impliquée dans la création et le lien avec l'HUMAIN. Elle créé, mais au-delà, elle transmet un message à travers son Art : émotions, quête de sens, compréhension du monde.
Elle transmet lors de ces ateliers, une technique simple ouvrant à la créativité : tout un cheminement vers Soi, un état de bien-être et de reconnexion, un pur moment de partage. Elle observe également les bienfaits de cette discipline auprès des enfants étant pourvus de troubles de TDAH : augmentation de la concentration, apaisement, développement de la créativité.
